The 11 days Trek to Langtang Valley starts from Syabrubensi and follows trails to Langtang River. The trek reaches the Tamang settlement of the picturesque Langtang village and allows the trekkers to interact with the Tamang locals. The trek also features the ancient Kyanjin Gompa, which holds the highest spiritual honor among the locals of Langtang region and also hosts a spectacular panorama of the mountains including the Langtang range. As you reach the highest altitude of the trek in Tserko Ri (4985m), you will get mesmerizing panoramic views of the mountains in the Langtang region. While you enjoy the serene environment of the trek, you will also get great views of peaks such as Dorje Lakpa (6966m) and Shishapangma (8013m), the only 8000m peak in Tibet. The 11 days trip is a complete package to experience nature and culture along with breathtaking rays of sunrise/set that fall on the mountain peaks.

Langtang Valley Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1338m
Welcome to Nepal! You will be welcomed by our representatives at Tribhuvan International Airport. From the airport, you will be taken to the hotel. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Full Day Guided Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley by private vehicle
After breakfast, drive to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as Monkey Temple, from where a panoramic view of Kathmandu city can be seen. Then, visit Boudhanath Stupa, the biggest stupa in Nepal and one of the bigger stupas in the world. You then visit Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the holiest shrines in the entire Hindu world. A route of the Pashupatinath area takes people past a sixth-century statue of Brahma, the creator, and numerous other temples. There are rows of Shiva monuments, and Hindu pilgrims from all over South Asia come to offer prayers and worship Shiva. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi 1460m/6-7 hours by private 4W vehicle
After breakfast, we drive to Syabrubensi, the beginning point for the Langtang Valley Trek. The roads are quite uneven and bumpy yet entertaining. Experience the amazing view of Manaslu (8156m), Annapurna (8091m), and Ganesh Himal (7422m) during drive by our private land cruiser. Overnight at a lodge in Syabrubesi.
Day 4: Trek from Syabrubensi to Lama Hotel 2324m/5-6 hours
Descend to the camping area and pass the suspension bridge over Bhote Koshi River and follow the river towards Thulo Syabru for a while. Continue walking alongside Bhote Koshi River to arrive in Bamboo, and crossing the bamboo forest, climb up to Rimche and then to Lama Hotel with a view of the Langtang range. Overnight at a lodge in Lama Hotel.
Day 5: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang 3330m/5-6 hours
After breakfast, we leave Lama Hotel and start to gain elevation. The first part of the trek slowly ascends. We cross different Buddhist Mani walls, Chortens, villages, and forests as we enjoy the tranquil nature. Climb uphill to see Langtang Lirung (7234m) and continue walking towards Ghodatabela. The trail widens and passes few herders' settlements. We might spot few local birds and white monkeys as we trek inside Langtang National Park to reach the Tamang village of Langtang. Overnight at a lodge in Langtang.
Day 6: Trek from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa 3730m/3-4 hours
Climb gradually to pass the villages, yak pastures, streams, and moraines to reach Kyanjin. Here, we will visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa, which holds high cultural values to the Tamang community of Langtang region. Kyanjin Gompa hosts a stunning view of Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Langtang Ri (7205m), Langtang Lirung (7234m), and so on. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day: hike to Tserko-Ri 4985m
Today, we take a hike to Tserko Ri (4985m), the highest altitude of our trek. Walking on a steep rocky trail, we arrive at the top of Tserko Ri for an astonishing view of the Langtang Himal range including Langtang Lirung (7234m), Tserko Peak (5749m), Yala Peak (5500m), and so on. We hike back to Kyanjin Gompa and visit its famous yak cheese factory, if interested, you can taste it too. Overnight at a lodge in Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 8: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 2324m/5-6 hours
After an amazing stay in Kyanjin, we retrace our way back to Lama Hotel. Following Langtang Khola to reach Langtang village and then to reach Ghodatabela. After gradual descend along the trails, we reach back to Lama Hotel for the overnight stay. Overnight at a lodge in Lama Hotel.
Day 9: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru 2210m/5-6 hours
Today the trail continues through the forest of pines, oaks, and rhododendron. We may also encounter endangered wildlife like red panda, wild boar, Himalayan black bear, and different species of birds on our way. We continue to trek through the forested path until reaching Thulo Syabru, which is a wonderful village that preserves the ethnic culture, tradition, and customs of the Tamang people living in the region. Overnight at a lodge in Thulo Syabru.
Day 10: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Thulo Bharkhu 2030m/3-4 hours and drive back to Kathmandu 5-6 hours by private 4W vehicle
Early morning, we start our trek on the trail through pine forests until Brabal. Then, descending through the thick forests, we reach Thulo Bharkhu. After lunch, we drive back to Kathmandu via Dhunche and Trishuli. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Final Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, our office staff will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight back to home or other destination.
