Imagine yourself getting close to the highest mountain in the world, Everest (8848.86m), with your family. Enjoying the mountains and the rural trails with your spouse and children can be one of the most memorable trips in your lifetime. Everest Panorama Trek for Families is a trek with the moderate difficulty level that provides strikingly stunning mountain views that your children will remember forever. You and your children get to mingle with the local Sherpa community, to live their unique lifestyle for a few days, and to soak into their vibrant culture. Everest Panorama Trek for Families is an opportunity to spend some quality time with your family (including children) in the lap of the Himalayas, surrounded by tranquil nature and warm people.
The Everest Panorama Trek for Families starts with a flight to Lukla, which marks the beginning of the adventure. Your children will thoroughly enjoy the amphitheater styled settlement of Namche Bazaar. The trail is driven by an earthy smell and the tingling sound of the bell around the yaks and donkeys. Throughout the trek, you can enjoy the magnificent views of mountains including Everest (8848.86m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Nuptse (7861m), Thamserku (6623m), Kangtega (6782m), Taboche (6542m), and Cholatse (6440m) among others. The children will cherish the blooming pink, red, and white flowers as you trek amid rhododendron forests. Crossing the suspension bridges and walking along the rivers will make them a fearless person. As you cross several villages on the way, interacting with local children, observing their lifestyle, and experiencing the rural routine will certainly develop a sense of respect and empathy in your child which will shape him/her into a better human being. Your children will also get an insight on Buddhism as the trail reaches Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, and also the highest altitude of this trek. Thus, immersing in the peace and serenity from this area with your children is something out of this world.
Swiss Family Treks and Expedition specializes in family trips and offers various treks and tours packages inclusive of children. Our experienced guides are English speaking and are extremely friendly, so your child will not be left bored during the trek.
