Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1340m,
At Tribhuvan International Airport, our team representative will be there to pick you up upon your arrival. You will then be taken to your hotel for the overnight stay. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 800m/25min.
Today we take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The 25 minutes flight takes you over the vast hills and the high mountains of central Nepal. After reaching Pokhara, we check in to the hotel and rest for a while, after which you can enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and visit Gupteswor Cave, Davis Falls, and other famous places in the lake city. The evening in the Lakeside area is vibrant and lively with nature, music, and good food. Overnight at a 5-star hotel in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara to Jomsom 2710m by flight (20 minutes) and Trek to Marpha 2670m (3/4 hours) via Thini Village & Dhumba Lake,
A 20 minutes scenic flight takes us from Pokhara to Jomsom. From Jomsom, we start our trek towards Marpha, walking alongside the gorge of Kali Gandaki River. We cross Kali Gandaki River on a suspension bridge to reach Old Jomsom, from where we ascend to the Thakali village of Thini. We then head towards the mesmerizing Dhumba Lake, whose premises are adorned with prayer flags. After spending some time at the tranquil lake, we continue our trek, enjoying the barren yet picturesque landscape, to reach Marpha. Marpha is a small Thakali village known all over the world for as the capital of Nepal. In the evening, we visit the ancient Rinjing and Solmi Gompa in Marpha. Overnight in Marpha.
Day 4: Trek from Marpha to Kagbeni 2800m (5/6 hours)
From Marpha, we start our trek towards Kagbeni. The trail on a sandy cliff above the deep gorge of Kali Gandaki River takes us to Jomsom, from where we ascend on the riverbed of the mighty river to reach Ekle Bhatti. In Ekle Bhatti, we take a short rest enjoying the peaceful views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), and Nilgiri (7061m). We then make a gradual climb through the riverbed to reach Kagbeni. In the evening, we can visit the 600 years old Gompa in Kag Chode Thupten Samphel Ling Gompa in Kagbeni. Overnight in Kagbeni.
Day 5: Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath 3800m (4/5 hours),
As we walk from Kagbeni, we make a slow climb to reach Dzong Village. We can get the views of Thorung Peak (6144m), Nilgiri (7061m), Tilicho Peak (7134m), and many other snow-covered peaks throughout the trail. The trail also takes us to Sakya-Pa sect Buddhist Monastery in Dzong. Walking a little further from Dzong, we reach the holy temple of Muktinath. On reaching Muktinath, we can visit the temple, bathe in the 108 stone spouts, and enjoy the scenic landscape seen from the temple. Near the temple, there are many other temples and monasteries. We will spend the night at a lodge in Muktinath.
Day 6: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom 2710m via Lupra Village 2790m (5/6 hours),
From Muktinath, we commence our return journey gradually walking along the ridge with unparalleled sights of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri Peak (7061m), Tilicho Peak (7134m), Annapurna I (8091m), and so on. Descending along the bare hills on a sandy path, we reach Lupra Village, which is one of the oldest settlements of this region. In Lupra village, we visit the 11th-century Lupra Monastery, where we can see the paintings of the various deities of Tibetan Buddhism. From Lupra, we descend alongside Panda River until we reach a suspension bridge below Ekle Bhatti. Then an easy walk along the Kali Gandaki River takes us back to the windy town of Jomsom. Overnight at a hotel in Jomsom.
Day 7: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara 25 minutes and transfer to Hotel.
From Jomsom, we fly back to Pokhara enjoying spectacular views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayas. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we drive to the hotel and rest for a while. Afterward, you can hike up to World Peace Stupa for a panoramic view of the Himalayas along with the view of the entire Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake. Overnight at a 5-star hotel in Pokhara.
Day 8: Buffer day for flight cancellation due to bad weather and afternoon fly back to Kathmandu.
Since the weather can be unpredictable sometimes, we have kept a buffer day in case of flight cancellation. You can utilize this day to visit different places in Pokhara. You can either drive to Sarangkot to enjoy a stunning sunrise view and can also partake in adventure activities like paragliding and zip lining on your own expenses. In the afternoon, you fly back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 9: Full Day Guided Sightseeing Tour in Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square by private van
This day will be dedicated to exploring two ancient palaces of Kathmandu Valley—Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Both of these places are listed under UNESCO's world heritage sites and are an epitome of cultural and architectural magnificence. You can enjoy a good dose of history along with the local Newari food. Overnight at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure from Kathmandu
On the final day, we drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport to connect you with the flight back home.
