Annapurna Panorama View Trek, also known as Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, is a short yet a popular and classic trek in the Annapurna region in western Nepal. This trek offers a spectacular view of mighty Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs along with the panorama of ever splendid Machhapuchhre (6993m). Essentially an easy teahouse trek, the route is surrounded by lush rhododendron forests that lead to picturesque Gurung villages. Annapurna Panorama View Trek is a trek for beginners as well as experienced trekkers to experience life in the base of the giant Annapurna massif.

Annapurna Panorama View Trek begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. The following day you will fly to Pokhara from where you drive to Phedi, the place where our trail of Annapurna Panorama View Trek begins. The same day awaits a short but steep trek to Dhampus. During the Annapurna Panorama View Trek, you'll reach various Gurung villages of Landruk, Ghandruk, Tadapani, and Magar village of Ghorepani and Ulleri; Ghandruk is the largest among them. Poon Hill (3210m), the highest elevation of the trek, opens up to the panoramic sight of the mountains and a breath-taking effect of sunrise over them. Usually, the trek is steep and rocky, accompanied by the view of the mountains and the dense tropical forest. The trail takes you mostly through flagstone steps amid lush rhododendron forests. If you trek during the spring, you will find the forests covered in colors with blooming rhododendrons.
