Danke, Stefan!

Mrs. Lisa Hahn, Germany, August 2018: I did spend 2 wonderful months in the mountains of Austria before I came to Nepal. Therefor getting into Kathmandu was at first a little shocking: loud, crowded, dusty, hot. Nevertheless we did a tour wich was fantastic. The guide did know so many things about the monastery culture, rituals, people. It made me forget the first impression of the city itself. It was a fantastic dayz Spending One day in Kathmandu, it was time to fly to Lukla to explore Nepal’s nature and leran more about Buddhism. The trekking in the wonderful mountain area was amazing. I prefer to call the guide teacher as he did share so much information with me. The whole team was always smiling and helpful. Absolutely great! As the tour was during low season I did hardly see any other tourists. I was blessed to be hosted in many sherpa kitchens, experiencing their real life and learning a lot about their fantastic giving culture and about Buddhism. I saw many holy places and people always had a warm welcome and smile for me. I feel absolutely thankful for this experience. Flying back I did spend a few fantastic calm and peaceful days at the swiss family hotel. I did not feel like being in a hotel at all. It was a oerfect mix between having time for myself but still having the option of being in company. After being filled with so much information and nice memories it was the perfect time to calm down and be with myself for a while. For breakfast and delicious diner I was allowed to sit with the family having very nice chats about life and the world. The energy and atmosphere was amazing. I am a solo woman traveller and I felt save and well taken care of all the time. I can strongly recommend Swiss family trek if you want to explore Nepal or if you are looking for an excellent retreat place close to Kathmandu. Thank you Stephan and team for the gift of your time. It will be an unforgettable memory.
