Jomolhari Trek avec une visite culturelle de Paro et Thimphu
Au départ de la vallée de Paro, votre randonnée commence par une douce ascension à travers la forêt intacte de rhododendrons et de pins du Bhoutan. En passant par les villages aux champs luxuriants de riz, de blé, d'orge et en traversant les arbres, vous arrivez dans les régions peu peuplées par les éleveurs de yak migrants. Le sentier continue à travers une vallée enchanteresse flanquée de sommets enneigés jusqu'au pied du mont Chomolhari et de son compagnon en forme de pointe, Jichu Drake.
Vous passez une journée entière à explorer les environs ou simplement à vous détendre et à profiter des merveilles de la nature. Vous reprenez votre randonnée dans la vallée de Thimphu en traversant deux grands cols à travers la nature sauvage reculée avec une faune abondante, notamment des moutons bleus, des Takin et une variété d'oiseaux, peut-être sous la surveillance du léopard des neiges insaisissable. Il y aura de nombreuses occasions d'interagir avec les sympathiques gens du Bhoutan et d'apprendre leur philosophie du «BONHEUR NATIONAL BRUT». Après le trek, vous avez une journée pour voir la petite capitale du Bhoutan sans feu de circulation.
