Chepang Hill Trek with Chitwan Tour is one of the most unique and recent trekking routes around the mid-hills of Nepal leading to the esteemed Chitwan National Park. Chepang hill trek was opened since 2005 introducing the Chepang ethnic group and promoting tourism in this area. It is one of the easiest short day treks introducing us to the local culture of Chepang which is one of the indigenous groups of Nepal along with the beautiful views of green mid hills and rivers on our way. It also serves the trekkers with the panoramic views of Himalayan peaks such as Gauri Shankar, Langtang (7227m), Manaslu (8163m), Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri (8167m) and many others.

The intriguing trek begins as you head from Kathmandu to Charaudi Red House, which is also the rafting starting point. Following the rafting experience, the trek leads to Chitwan National Park. The trek involves renowned safari in the Chitwan National Park and a brief yet interesting introduction to the unique culture of Tharu community. We will get the chance to explore the traditions of the Tharu community and do elephant and jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. We may get also encounter rhinos and crocodiles resting on the bank of Narayani River. The national park is also a haven for a great many species of birds and is an excellent choice to observe their skittish and lively nature. While the short trek of the forested level lands in Nepal offers the great experience, you will not miss the trademark of a typical trek in Nepal, that being the magnificent views of the majestic Himalayas resting within the boundaries of the nation. The even more wonderful aspect of the trek is that a trekker does not need any prior trekking or hiking experience to complete this exciting trekking route.

Swiss Family Treks and Expeditions is one of the best trekking and hiking organizers in Nepal and we have been operating in the sector for over 10 years. We have the best-experienced team serving our clients with all the requirements they need. We offer a number of treks/tour packages to make our client’s trip easy and exciting.
