Ramdung Go and Pharchamo Peak Climbing, 25 Days

Days: 25 / Difficulty: 5 of 5 (Very Strenuous)
Min Group Size: 2 / Max Group Size: 8

What’s better than a lifetime of an experience of scaling a majestic peak? The answer is pretty obvious: the experience of mounting two such beauties! Ramdung Go and Pharchamo Peak Climbing will take you to the hidden peak of the Himalayas. Hiding solemnly among numerous higher peaks, these two peaks offer sublime mountaineering experience and mesmerizing views. The trail offers close-up at the culture of the local ethnic communities and also immense solitude in the lap of the mighty mountains themselves.

This adventurous trek begins with a trek to the Rolwaling Valley. Ramdung Peak is located in isolated Rolwaling Valley, south of the Tashi Lapcha Pass, which borders Khumbu. This peak is rarely climbed, which make it less crowded and perfect for the trekkers who love to trek in the peaceful surrounding. You will first ascend the Ramdung peak, and follow in a spectacular fashion to the summit of Pharchamo. Despite the height, this peak is challenging to climb and need to high camps before summiting.  You will go through small villages, riverbanks, high pastures, and dense forests. You will cross Tashi Lapcha La Pass over the glacial moraine and ascend towards Pharchamo Peak, which will be strenuous and challenging. You will get to see panoramic views of mountains like Mt. Gaurishankar (7,134 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), and the mighty Mt. Everest (8,848 m) among a ton of other peaks. You will also see gorgeous glaciers and rivers on this trek. Along with this, you will experience the lifestyle, culture, and tradition of the people living in this region. The trail is difficult to follow and you need to be physically fit to go on this trek. The best times to go on this trek are from March to May and September to November.
