Experience the remoteness in Nepal’s land with Khumbhu-Rolwaling trek, breath taking mountain views diverse of flora and fauna and rich local cultures. Good Walking experience and patience is required for this trek. In this trek, you an experience of the Sherpa cultural heritage and Buddhist life styles in high places within “Khumbu” or “Everest Region”. It is the home of the Sherpa people and the legendary Yeti. The Khumbu region features unique natural and cultural landscapes and the unsurpassed Sherpa hospitality. Visitors are also blessed with magnificent views of the towering peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse Shar, Tamserku, Kwangde, Khumbi-ila, Kangteiga, Ama Dablam. On the way to our trek there is technical route in Tashi Lapcha Pass. A Great nunnery Gompa called Bigu Gompa Where more than 300 nuns reside. In Sherpa Language Bigu means "Seed". The village is mainly the residence of Sherpa tribes. In a year there are two festivals which is celebrated "Mani Rimdu in Tenngboche Gompa in Khumbu region. View of Gaurishankar (7,145m), Melungtse (7,181m) and other mountains, good landscapes; the village of Beding (3,690m) and monastery, the village of Na (4,183m), Tso Rolpa Lake is the main attractions. Rolwalling trekking to Rollwaling Himal, which is on the west of Everest and near to the Tibetan border, offers fascinating experience. Starts in Lukla, passes Tashi Lapcha Pass and descends Tsho Rolpa Lake. The trail descends and turns to the Rolwaling Valley, one of the most remote, mysterious, and fascinating places in the trek. The land has many things to share, the tales of the yeti, the elusive snow man in the world and it is the place where some mountaineers arranged expedition to hunt yeti's during past days. Beding is the last permanent settlement & Na Village which is only the summer settlement and it is the highest altitude in the trek.
Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and meet with company’s representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing about trip in Nepal, relax.
Day 2: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, Kopan Monastery, Pashupatinath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square with our Tour Guide by private car, Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2840m and trek to Phakding 2610m/3-4 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar 3440m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day: Hiking to Everest View Hotel and exploring the large Sherpa Village of Khumjung and Khunde including Buddhist Monasteries, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazzar to Thame 3800m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Exploring the Buddhist Monastery and surrounding hills for the acclimatize, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek from Thame to Thyangbo 4350m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Trek from Thayngbo to Tashi Cape 5110m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Rest Day for acclimatize, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Trek from Tashi Cape to Tashi Lapcha Phedi 4980m/7-8 hours via Tashi Lapcha Pass 5755m, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Trek from Tashi Lapcha Pass to Trakading Glacier 4800m/7-8 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Trek from Trakading Glacier to Tsho Rolpa Lake 4540 m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 14: Trek from Tsho Rolpa Lake to Na Village 4180m/4-5 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 15: Exploring the Yalung Glacier, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 16: Trek from Na Village to Beding 3690m/4-5 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 17: Trek from Beding to Daldung-La 3975m/7-8 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 18: Trek from Daldung-La to Simigaon 2020m/6-7 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 19: Trek from Simigaon to Yarsa 1700m/6-7 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 20: Trek from Yarsa to Khopa 1925m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 21: Trek from Khopa to Bigu Gompa 2330m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 22: Trek from Bigu Gompa to Dolangsa 2490m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 23: Trek from Dolangsa to Kharte 1705m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 24: Trek from Kharte to Barabise 975m/4-5 hours, stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 25: Drive from Barabise to Kathmandu 5-6 hours and transfer to Hotel.
Day 26: Full day Sightseeing in Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square with our Tour Guide by private car, overnight in Hotel.
Day 27: Departure to International Airport.
