Makalu Base Camp Camping Trek, 23 Days
This is one of the most remote and unfrequented trek in the eastern part of Nepal, established in 1992. It is an ideal trek for those with the time and desire to experience impressing natural beauty, life style of different ethnic groups, culture diversity of peoples, magnificent Himalayan range, incredible range of landscapes from mountain to glacial terrain and rich variety of flora and fauna. The trail follows the Arun River passing through the beautiful villages of Seduwa and Num from where viewing spectacular scenery of Mt. Makalu.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet SNFT representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax
Day 2: Full day Sightseeing in world heritage sites with Tour Guide by private car.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and trek to Khandbari 1020m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 4: Trek from Khandbari to Chichila 1850m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Trek from Chichila to Num 1505m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Trek from Num to Seduwa 1530m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Trek from Seduwa to Tashigaon 2065m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek from Tashigaon to Khongma 3562m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Trek from Khongma to Mumbuk 3550m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Trek from Mumbuk to Yangri Kharka 3610m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Trek from Yangri Kharka to Merek 4510m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 12: Trek from Merek to Shershong 4650m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 13: Trek from Shershong to Makalu Base Camp 4870m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 14: Trek from Makalu B. C. to Riphuk Kharka 3930m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 15: Trek from Riphuk Kharka to Mumbuk 3550m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 16: Trek from Mumbuk to Khongma 3562m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 17: Trek from Khongma to Tashigaon 2065m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 18: Trek from Tashigaon to Num 1505m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 19: Trek from Num to Chichila 1850m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 20: Trek from Chichila to Mane Bhanjyang 1105m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 21: Trek from Mane Bhanjyang to Tumlingtar 860m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 22: Fly from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Day 23: Departure to International Airport
Our Tour Package Includes:

* Domestic flight ticket KTM/Tumlingtar/KTM and domestic airport tax
* 4 nights ccommodation with breakfast at Standard hotel in Kathmandu.
* Kathmandu city tour as per the above itinerary.

* Makalu Barun National Park Permit and all necessary permits.

Our Tour Package doesn't include;
* Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast.
* Travel insurance (if you want us to arrange your travel insurance, we would greatly be happy to assist).
* International air fare to and from Nepal.
* Nepal Tourist Visa fee.
* Items and expenses of personal nature.
* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and
strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.
* Tips for guide, porters, driver...
Tipping is expected but it is not mandatory.

TOUR CANCELLATION:
There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
