Machhapuchhre Model trek is the newly opened trekking area in Nepal; this fresh trekking trail offers you enchanting views of mountain ranges, rich vegetation along with the culture and lifestyle of the ethnic dwellers. At the time when roads are encroaching on the pristine trekking areas especially in the Annapurna region of Nepal, a model trek route has been opened in the Kaski district, near Pokhara. The blending of rich cultural heritage of diverse ethnic groups like Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Damai, Kami, Sarki, Chhetri, Newar, and Brahmins etc with the eye catching views of snowcapped mountains like Mt. Mardi, Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Himalayan ranges from the close proximity. The opportunity to experience the combinations of rich flora & fauna, mountain forest, varied birds species, wild flowers, wild animals and natural hot spring are supplementary attractions for visitors of all kinds. Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research – North South (NCCR N-S) has developed the new trail in consultation with the trekking operators and the local community. This is good news for the trekking enthusiasts who are attracted to Nepal to try the new trekking trail and also for the local community of that region to host the guests.

Program Itinerary in Details:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet with our office representative at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and briefing about tour, relax.
Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley with tour guide by private car. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara with A/C Tourist Bus. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Mardi Pul and trek to Ribhan via Lachok 1430m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 5: Trek from Ribhan to Chichemle Kharka 2645m via Odane Hill (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 6: Trek from Chichemle Kharka to Kumai 3245m (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 7: Trek from Kumai to Kharka 3699m via Korchon (4/5 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 8: Trek from Kharka to Takru 1450m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 9: Trek from Takru to Lwang 1460m (5/6 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Trek from Lwang to Mardi Pul 1000m (6/7 hours). Overnight at tented camp.
Day 11: Drive from Mardi Pul to Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu with A/C Tourist Bus. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 13: Full Day Sightseeing to Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square with tour guide by private car. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 14: Departure to International Airport.
Our Tour Package Includes:
* Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up & transfer by car / Van.
* 6 nights accommodation with breakfast at Standard hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
* Kathmandu city tour as per the above itinerary.

Our Tour Package doesn't include;
* Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast.
* Travel insurance (if you want us to arrange your travel insurance, we would greatly be happy to assist).
* International air fare to and from Nepal.
* Nepal Tourist Visa fee.
* Items and expenses of personal nature.
* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and
strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters due to natural calamities during the trek.
* Tips for guide, porters, driver...
Tipping is expected but it is not mandatory.

Note: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Swiss Nepal Family Trekking & Expedition (P) Ltd. The charges must be paid by the clients themselves.

TOUR CANCELLATION:
There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
