Lukla to Tengboche with Children Lodge Trek, 10 Days
Itinerary in details
Day 1; Arrival in Kathmandu and meet SNFT representative at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 2; Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with Tour Guide by private vehicle (we will choose together what your kids like to see best). Over night in Hotel.
Day 3; Fly from Kathmandu toLukla and trek to Phakding (2635m/3 hours)
Early morning transfer to airport. Flight to Lukla, where your crew will be waiting for you. Everything will be sorted out and horses or porters will be allocated. Lunch will be taken in Lukla. After lunch, we descend
to the Dudh Koshi valley; pass to Ghat village to find our Lodge near Phakding. Stay overnight in Lodge.
Day 4; Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m/6 hours)
We will follow the trail north up the valley of Benkar. Then we cross the river and go on past Chumow to Mondzo, the entrance to Everest National Park. Then crossing a suspension bridge, pass Jorsalle village and walk alongside of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. A steep ascend brings us to the principal Sherpa village of Namche Bazar. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 5; Namche, resting day
Early in the morning hike to Sagarmatha National Park Headquarters for sunrise. We will see the first real view of the Himalayan peaks; Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. In the museum there is a display of the Sherpa traditional life, of the flora and fauna and birdlife of the park. We spend the day exploring Namche Bazar or hike to KhumjungKunde visit Hillary’s hospital, school or the village Gompa of Khumjung. We can even go inside the Gompa ‘yeti scalp’. We can also visit Hotel Everest View on the way back to Namche. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 6; Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche(3870m/5 hours)
Trek to Tengboche about 6 hour walk. Our trail now follows the Imja Khola (river) to reach Thengboche (3860m), located on a ridge below the impressive north ridge of Kang Taiga and stay overnight at a Lodge.
Day 7; Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazar. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 8; Trek from Namche Bazar to Lukla
We descend to Jorsalle, then follow the Dudh Koshi river downstream until Ghat, and back to Lukla.
Day 9; Fly back to Kathmandu airport. Pick up by SNFT car and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure depending on your schedule transfer to International Airport.
Our Tour Package includes;

* 3 nights accommodation in twin bed sharing basis with breakfast at standard hotel in Kathmandu.
* Domestic flight ticket from KTM-Lukla-KTM and airport tax.

* Lodge to lodge accommodation during the trek.
* 1 experienced, helpful and friendly guide, porters (1 porter for 2 peoples), their food & accommodation,

* All transportation by private vehicle.
* Sagarmatha National Park Permit.
* All necessary permits.
* First Aid Medical Kit box.
* Tourist service charge,

Our Tour Package doesn't include;
* Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast.
* Travel insurance (if you want us to arrange your travel insurance, we would greatly be happy to assist).
* International air fare to and from Nepal.
* Nepal Tourist Visa fee.
* Items and expenses of personal nature.
* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and
strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters due to natural calamities during the trek.
* Tips for guide, porters, driver...
Tipping is expected but it is not mandatory.

NOTE: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will be arranged by Swiss Nepal Family Trekking & Expedition (P) Ltd. The charges must be paid by clients themselves.

TOUR CANCELLATION:
There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
