This trek is to be considered as an alternative trek to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek that offers magnificent view of the mountain peaks and the Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest in the Nepal Himalayas. The image of this region is associated with the soaring view of the most popular mountains in Nepal, at an altitude of 8000m including Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu which are clearly visible from Gokyo Ri (5483m.) above Gokyo Lake. One of the most remarkable features of the trek is the view of tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung (2922m) located in Khumbu region. The adventure of trekking in the Everest region starts with a flight into the tiny airstrip of Lukla. Spend several days trekking through the homelands of the Sherpa people, among their villages and Buddhist monasteries, with views of Everest and neighbouring Ama Dablam, considered by many to be among the most beautiful mountains in Nepal. Stroll around Namche Bazaar, the bustling market town in the heart of Sherpa country and soak up the magnificent mountain scenery. This trek gives you the grand tour of the famous Khumbu area. This is a strenuous trek leading to Gokyo Lake and over the Cho La Pass at 5330m leading into the Khumbu valley above Lobuche. The trail continues up to Kalapattar and then back to Lukla via Tengboche and Namche Bazaar. The trek to Everest Base Camp is without doubt one of the most famous in the world. It takes you into the heart of the Nepalese Himalaya, with awe-inspiring views of many of the world's highest and most beautiful mountains. Jagged Globe offer two variations to this classic trek and high passes both of which climb the famous Everest viewing point of Kala Patar, as well as going to the actual site of base camp, below the tumbling Khumbu Icefall. Our itineraries are carefully designed to ensure you have adequate time to acclimatize comfortably, thereby enjoying the trekking experience to the full. Our aim is to provide you with a safe, enjoyable and successful trek in Nepal. This remarkable Himalayan country is the centrepiece of our worldwide activities and we provide all of our trekkers and climbers with a smooth and efficient service to maximise both your enjoyment and your chances of a successful trip, whether it be to Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp.

Nepal Rafting

Rafting is a great way to enjoy your time with family. Do not think you are too old for such stuff or that your child is too young for that. A river trip is different from any other vacations. Where else can you experience the thrill of passing through rapids, paddle waves, play sand volley-ball, relax on your own private sand beach accompanied by sounds of nature, enjoy delicious food cooked for you, and swap stories sitting by the candles on the sand all in the same day? And more over, you can experience all this together with your family!
