Helambhu Family Trek with Children 10 Days
This is a one of the popular and short family trek in Langtang Helambhu region. The trek is easy walking and provides the spectacular view of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa and other small peaks. The warm and friendly peoples of Helambhu are mostly Buddhist. This trek also offers to the visitors who want to explore in a short time for cultures trip and Himalayan scenery. This trek is famous for its scenic grander and pleasant climate. There are many ancient Buddhist monasteries and enchanting landscapes as well as dense Rhododendron forest. We will experience with the Yolmo culture of high mountain village.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet our staff at the airport and transfer to hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax
Day 2: Full day Sightseeing in world heritage sites with Tour Guide by private car.
Our tour guide introduces you in the world heritage sites such as Bauddhanath, Pasupatinath, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square by private vehicle. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Melamchi Pul by private vehicle (4/5 hours) & trek Kakani 1996m (3/4 hours).
In the morning after breakfast, our private vehicle comes to pick up us in hotel. Drive from Kathmandu via Dhulikhel to Malamchi Pul viewing Langtang range during the drive which takes about 4 hours. Then we will have lunch break there. After lunch, the trail continues steep ascent until reaching Tamang village in Kakani. It takes about 3 hours. Stay overnight in Lodge.
Day 4: Trek from Kakani to Sermanthang 2590m (4/5 hours).
You start our trek after breakfast, the trail continues gentle ascent through the Pine Tree forests until reaching Sermanthang village. It takes about 4 hours. We will have lunch break there. After lunch, we can visit the monastery and village tour. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 5: Trek from Sermanthang to Tarkegyang 2740m (4/5 hours).
We start level trail passing the Mani wall and Chhortens and enter through the Forests till Ganjawal village which takes about 2 hours. We can visit a splendid monastery in this village. We will have lunch break there. Then we continue our trek through the Rhododendron forests until reaching largest Sherpa village in Tankegyang. It takes about 2 hours to reach. We can visit again other splendid monasteries. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Tarkegyang to Melamchi Gaon 2530m (4/5 hours).
In the morning after breakfast, we continue to steep descents till Melamchi Khola and cross by a suspension bridge passing Huge Chhorten. It takes about 2 hours to drop down. Then after, we climb up steeply passing the many Chhortens through the Rhododendron forest until reaching the Malamchi gaon which takes about 2 hours. We will have lunch break in this village. After lunch, we can visit again monastery with guide. This village is also another prosperous Sherpa village. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 7: Trek from Melamchi Gaon to Thimbu 1580m (4/5 hours).
In this day, we start our trek after breakfast. The trail steep descends through the forests and cross by a suspension bridge. We continue again the trek upstream of Melamchi Khola until reaching Thimbu village. It takes about 4 hours to reach. We will have lunch break and overnight in Lodge.
Day 8: Drive from Thimbu to Kathmandu by private vehicle (5/6 hours).
Our private vehicle comes to pick up in our lodge. Firstly the road is rough till Melamchi Pul and continues smoothly until reaching Dhulikhel. It takes about 4 hours. We will have lunch break here with viewing Langtang range. Then after lunch, again continue by drive till Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 9: Full day Sightseeing in world heritage sites with Tour Guide by private car.
Our tour guide leads you again other world heritage sites like Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10: Transfer to International Airport
Our Tour Package includes;
* Airport/Hotel/Airport pick up and transfer by private car/van.
* 4 nights accommodation in twin bed sharing basis with breakfast at standard hotel in Kathmandu.
* Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley as per above mentioned itinerary.

* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and
strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters due to natural calamities during the trek.

Tipping is expected, but it is not mandatory.

TOUR CANCELLATION:
There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
