Gandruk Circuit, Family Lodge Trek, 10 Days
The Gandruk Circuit, is a famous short trek in the Annapurna area. It is a rather easy and peaceful trek. This trek is also very enjoyable and nice for children with their parents. It is famous for its culture, geographical diversity and spectacular views of mountains and stone built villages. Basically Gandruk village is also called Konda Village in the local language and it means Stone Village. Trekkers hopefully enjoy and are happy on those trekking trails, because of the clean stone steps up and downhill, close view of mountains and Rhododendron flowers in the spring season. We organize and offer this trek to families who want to have an unforgettable time with their children in the Nepal Himalayas. Trekkers can see various high mountains such as Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchre 6993m, Hiun Chuli 6441m, Annapurna III 7555m and Gandarba chuli 6248m etc.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and meet our staff at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink and short briefing, relax.
Day 2: Sightseeing Tour of the world heritage sites.
Our tour guide introduces you to the world heritage sites such as Bouddhanath, Pasupatinath, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square by private vehicle. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m by tourist bus (6/7 hours).
Start 7 o’clock in the morning with an AC tourist bus following the Trishuli river. It takes about 7 hours to reach the Pokhara valley. You can do sight seeing in Pokhara with your guide. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk 1940m (4/5 hours).
Drive 1 and half hour by private car to Nayapul and begin your trek from Nayapul to Syauli Bazar, a 1 and half hour hike. Then the trail ascents to Kimche about 1 hour and you'll have lunch there. You continue your trek from there, climbing many many stone steps till you reach the large Ghandruk village(2h). You have a very good view of Fish Tail, Annapurna South and other smaller snow peaks. In the evening time you should go with your guide to visit the monastery and the old Gurung museum. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 5: Trek from Ghandruk to Landruk 1565m (4/5 hours).
In the morning after breakfast, you'll leave this unique village. The trail descents steeply to Kyumi about 2 hours walking till you'll reach the lunch place. You can see hanging bee hives in the Rock walls in front of your lodge. Then the route ascents and brings you to Landruk village (2 hours walk). Overnight in Lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Landruk to Dampus 1650m (5/6 hours).
The trail ascends gradually up until Tolka and you will climb the steep slope and zigzag up through the forests until you reach Deurali village. It takes about 3 hours, you have lunch there. After lunch, you descend the gentle ridge to Pothana. You keep descending the stone stepped path and you will reach in Dampus village after 2 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 7: Trek from Dampus to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara 820m (2/3 hours).
Today, you will get back to the Pokhara valley, descending the stone steps again. Finnaly you will arrive in Phedi, after about 3 hours. From there you return back to Pokhara by private car. Again you can visit with your guide Pokhara, as you wish. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus (6/7 hours).
Catch the bus early in the morning, drive back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 9: More sightseeing of world heritage sites.
Our tour guide can show you again some other world heritage sites, we actually have 7 of them only in the Kathmandu valley, like Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10: After breakfast transfer to international Airport
Our Tour Package includes;
* Airport/Hotel/Airport pick up and transfer by private car/van.
* 6 nights accommodation in twin bed sharing basis with breakfast at standard hotel in Kathmandu and
Pokhara.
* Sightseeing Tour as per above itinerary.

Our Tour Package doesn't include;
* Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast.

* Items and expenses of personal nature.
* Any kind of alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
* Personal Trekking Equipments like sleeping bags, jackets (can all be hired in KTM)
* Emergency Evacuation (Helicopter Rescue).
* Any costs which arise due to a change of the itinerary, because of landslides, political disturbance, and strikes etc.
* Any other costs whatsoever, that is not mentioned in the cost included.
* Horse renting and additional porters due to natural calamities during the trek.

Tipping is expected but it is not mandatory.
Note: In case of emergency during the trip, Helicopter will by arranged by Swiss Nepal Family Trekking & Expedition (P) Ltd.The charges must be paid by the clients themselves.

There will be a cancellation fee of 25% for any cancellation three weeks prior to Tour departure date, 50% two weeks prior to Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
