Chulu East OR Far East Peak Climbing and Naar Phu Valley, Camping 25 Days

Swiss Nepal Family Trekking Swiss Nepal Family Trekking Swiss Nepal Family Trekking
Chulu East Peak is one of the beautiful and popular trekking peaks. Chulu East or Far East peak is located in the north of the Annapurna range. It is a part of the Manang Himal, it is also called Julu peak. Chulu east peak climbing is considered one of the best trekking circuits in the world. Chulu Massif rises north of the Marsyangdi Khola in the Manang region and form part of the Manang Himal, which is quite rightly included in the larger Damodar Himal. This remote upland area lies to the north of and in a rain shadow formed by the main Annapurna Himal. Huge glacial moraines abound etched deeply by wind erosion into fantastic pillars. Chulu Far East ascent is not difficult and we will settle a high camp near the col. From that col we follow the long South-West ridge on snow and ice. Although the approach up the Marsyangdi is relatively quick and involves no great altitude gain, the trek takes you through a wonderful variety of landscape and culture; from the subtropical lower reaches of the valley with its terraced fields where Gurung people dominate, to the ethnically as well as socially interesting Manange people of the upper valley, crossing rhododendron and pine forests.

Nar Phu trek is also known by the Hidden Valley trek as this area is isolated and hidden part of Annapurna region. A fantastic journey through wild and unexplored area is in the north of Annapurna Himal range.  Nar Phu Valley is after two villages Naar and Phu. This trek is perfect for travelers who want to discover unspoiled area, its people and culture with combination of Tilicho Lake, one of the most virgin trekking trails in Nepal. A rough and wild trek, this trek takes you to the exotic Naar Phu valley that lies in the remote corner of the Annapurna region. Opened to visitors only in the year 2003, the Naar Phu valley remains untouched by modernity. The inhabitants, who roughly comprises of about 350 Nepalese Tibetans, have retained their age old practices. Most of them are engaged in yak herding and farming. This trek offer the lifetime adventure, observation of beautiful sceneries, mountains, dense forest, landscape, wild animals like the snow leopards and some monasteries like Tashi Lakhang - ‘the blessed house of gods’ is one of the oldest monasteries (or gompas) in Manang. The gompa is one of 108 constructed by Lama Urgen Lhundup Gyatso and, along with the monastery in Braga, makes up the heart of spiritual life in the Manang District.
Tilicho Lake is one of those places that have had next to mythic connotations. The Annapurna undoubtedly provides some of the world’s best trekking routes, including as it does a greater variety of scenery and culture than can not be found in any other comparable area. The route via Tilicho Lake and the two passes (Masokanto La and Tilicho Pass) that guard it from the Kaligandaki Valley beyond is still used and offers the adventurous and fit trekker high mountain scenery at its very best. The Tilicho Lake is a famous lake from natural beauty as well as religious point of view. For the lovers of nature it a magnificent view and real opportunity to see a lake at this altitude at 4919m.For religious minded people it is a Godly blessed place best suited for devotees, it is also an area of rough and wild beauty. This trek is visited by very few people though it is recommended for trekking and travel for all type of tourists. On the way we would have passed through every type of vegetation zone from lush sub-tropical to harsh semi-desert and passed over one of the highest trekking passes in the world. We will have entered a world without roads or cars and witnessed the way people have worked, played and survived for hundreds and hundreds of years. We would have essentially walked through a time warp coming out the other side with a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world we live in.

Nepal Rafting

Rafting is a great way to enjoy your time with family. Do not think you are too old for such stuff or that your child is too young for that. A river trip is different from any other vacations. Where else can you experience the thrill of passing through rapids, paddle waves, play sand volley-ball, relax on your own private sand beach accompanied by sounds of nature, enjoy delicious food cooked for you, and swap stories sitting by the candles on the sand all in the same day? And more over, you can experience all this together with your family!
